The Marketing and Development Intern will work closely with the Director of Mission Advancement to assist with the efforts of the marketing and development objectives for the organization and will gain valuable hands-on experience in nonprofit advocacy organization while improving their communication and organizational skills. The intern’s responsibilities will include research, writing, editing, graphic design and learning about special event fundraising, grant writing and appeals.

The ideal candidate for marketing and development internship takes direction easily, has a personal laptop computer and can provide two written character references one from a Professor at the college currently attending and another adult such as Priest, Nun, employer etc. All interns must be of legal age (age 18 and up)
At the end of the internship, the student will have collaterals to add to their portfolios such as invitations, programs and other print materials. They will have gained a hands-on up close and personal on the job type experience working as part of a Development Team. Each internship will be tailored to work within your college/work schedule. Interns will be favored who can attend special events and provide a weekly set schedule that is mutually agreed upon.
